We provide consulting services, digital documents, online training, and subscription-based access to specialised regulatory tools and content.
Our goal is to ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining fair and transparent business practices. This policy explains when refunds are available and how refund decisions are made.
1. Digital Products (Documents, Templates, Tools)
Refunds for digital products are only granted in the following circumstances:

2. Online Trainings
Live Sessions
Refunds are available only if the user cancels at least 5 days before the scheduled live session.
No refunds are granted:

For cancellations made less than 5 days before the event

For non-attendance or late attendance

After the live session has taken place
Pre-recorded or On-Demand Trainings
Refunds are provided only in cases of:

3. Consulting Services
Consulting services may include regulatory guidance, document creation, and expert advisory work.
Refunds follow this structure:
Before the project begins

Full refund available if no consulting work has started.
After the project has started

Refunds are prorated based on unused hours or unfinished portions of the project.

Any work already performed, time spent, or deliverables already created are non-refundable.
Once consulting time has been delivered, no refunds apply to completed hours.
4. Subscription Services
Subscription fees are charged in advance for the selected billing period.
Refund rules:

No refunds are provided for the billing period already paid, regardless of usage.

Customers may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing only.

Access remains active until the end of the paid period.
Auto-renewal reminders may be sent as a courtesy but are not guaranteed.
5. Payments and Billing Issues
If you experience a billing error (e.g., duplicate payment), we will issue a refund after verification.
6. Case-by-Case Evaluation for Technical or Service Failures
If a technical issue or platform malfunction substantially prevents access to services, we will evaluate the matter on a case-by-case basis.
Depending on the situation, outcomes may include:

7. Customer-Uploaded Files and Materials
Customer-uploaded files (forms, regulatory documents, or templates) are not eligible for refunds or adjustments.
Work performed on these files is treated as consulting work and follows the rules in Section 3.
8. International Customers
While Jakob Partners Consulting Sàrl is governed by Swiss law, we apply a consumer-friendly approach for international users.
However, this Refund Policy governs over any external jurisdiction unless mandatory local laws apply.
